String Art

The pieces shown in this post we inspired by string art, whereby string or thread is strung between points to create geometric, abstract patterns. I have simply stitched into paper to create the patterns opposed to guiding the thread around pins. For me, this was purely experimental, and I intend to attempt more designs using this technique to add detail and linear qualities to my usually simple block designs.

This is a technique that I have really enjoyed experimenting with, be prepared to see more coming from me in the future!
