A Paper Cut Bertie

I was at a loss as to what to get my mum for her birthday when I thought  I would get a friend to draw a picture of Bertie (our cocker spaniel), however I decided this at quite short notice therefore, understandably my friend did not have time. This encouraged me to attempt a picture of the dog myself, using my chosen technique of paper cut.

Using photoshop first, I got together the outlines for me to print, then cut, and this was the result, along with the original photograph and the piece in progress.
