Continuing my Cornwall themed posts, I now move on to the National Trust properties and gardens that I visited in the area. As a member of the National Trust, I like to make the most of the free entry their properties and gardens, also free parking in their car parks. I visited three properties whilst in Cornwall, Trerice, Lanhydrock and Trelissick. Be warned, this post will be photo heavy!!
Starting with Trerice, which was only ten minutes or so from where I was staying in Porth, near Newquay. Trerice is an Elizabethan manor house and garden, naturally I was more interested in the garden, as a lover of photographing flowers, of which there were many! Her are some photos that I took on the day, along with a paper cut I created of the exterior of the house.

Next up, Lanhydrock, in Bodmin. Lanhydrock is a late Victorian country house, garden and wooded estate. I have to admit I didn't explore the house on this visit, I was far too intrigued by the beautiful gardens surrounding it. Here are some photos I took whilst there, along with a paper cut of one of the many Dahlia flowers that can be seen in the grounds.

Last, but certainly not least, Trelissick, near Truro. Trelissick is a garden with a varied selection of plants and scenery. I loved wondering around the gardens - and getting lost! There was so much to see, and some amazing views over the coast and the estuary. Once again, here are some photos I took whilst I was there, and a paper cut I created from one of them.
