Mevagissey

We headed for the fishing village of Mevagissey to explore the harbour, and of course indulge in a cream tea at a little place called 'Tea on the Quay' (more info here) - which we both recommend...we will be back!

Indulgent cream tea from 'Tea on the Quay', an afternoon tea next time I think...
I loved it in Mevagissey, and we were very lucky with the weather the afternoon we visited...it started raining just as we went in for our cream tea, and stopped when we stepped back out.
I have to admit, I'm glad I wasn't having to drive around the village, the narrow roads (wide enough for one car) with buildings either side made me nervous as a passenger - let alone a driver...luckily George wasn't phased by this!
Naturally I was inspired by the boats in the harbour - here are some of my photos and paper cut designs I created inspired by them.

Thank you for reading.

Be sure to look out for the final in this series of blog posts next week!
