Knitted Hat

After knitting the mini woolly hats for the innocent smoothie bottles I was inspired to knit a hat for myself. I searched Ravelry, which is a website which is full of knitting and crochet patterns, where I was able to search for what I wanted to knit along with the type of yarn I wanted to use. I had a ball of navy double knitting wool waiting to be used so was able to search for and find exactly what I was looking for.

The style of hat I chose to knit was one that I knew I would wear, and the design had an interesting, but easy to knit lace look to it. When I first started knitting, I was worried that It wouldn't fit, however as I continued, I was able to try it on, and realised that I had a fair amount of stretch to it therefore ended up fitting perfectly, as can be seen in the photo below.
