Border Terrier Papercut

After the relative success of my paper cut of Bertie, my cocker spaniel, seen here, I decided to take on another dog, this time choosing one of my Granddad's Border Terriers. They have such different coats to that of a spaniel that I figured it would be a new challenge for me to give this a try.
It took me quite a while on photoshop to get the initial design complete due to the detail of the fur, but once I had printed this and started cutting it all seemed to be finished very quickly. I love paper cutting and it will always be my go to technique when I create imagery for a project or want to portray a design physically (opposed to digitally).

Thanks for reading.

  1. This is a very sweet inspiration for a breed that has been constantly considered as underrated, because some pet parents think they look to plain. Border terriers are such sweet dogs, and you may learn how fascinating they are from this article I found: http://dogsaholic.com/breeds/profiles/border-terrier.html
